Eastview Veterans’ Memorial Park

Flushing’s largest city park, spanning about 14 acres in a residential neighborhood on Coutant Street (near Chestnut Street). This community park is a hub for outdoor recreation and local sports. It features multiple baseball/softball fields, including a main lighted softball diamond built with support from the Flushing Lions Club and the Frank & Maxine McCarty Baseball Complex with additional youth ball fields. The park also offers a set of horseshoe pits (with lighting for evening play), a covered picnic pavilion for gatherings, a small playground for kids, and plenty of open green space for casual activities or practice. Picnic tables are available throughout, making it a pleasant spot for family outings or community events. Parking is plentiful in a large on-site gravel lot. Eastview Park is open daily dawn to dusk, welcoming residents for everything from league games and practices to leisurely walks and picnics.
