Vendor Information & Application Requirements

Thank you for your interest in becoming a vendor at the Flushing Farmers Market at Riverview Park. The market provides an opportunity for farmers, artists, crafters, food producers, and small businesses to connect with the Flushing community in a welcoming, family‑friendly environment.

All vendors are required to complete the official vendor application form available on this website.


Market Details

  • Location: Riverview Park
  • Season: Saturdays, May 1 through October 31
  • Time: 9:00 AM – 2:00 PM
  • Market is not held on:
    • May 23
    • June 20
    • July 4

Vendor Application Required

All vendors must complete and submit the vendor application form located on this website. Participation is not permitted without a completed and approved application.

Artist / Crafter Vendors

If you are applying as an Artist or Crafter, the application will require you to:

  • Describe the products you intend to bring to the market
  • Confirm that all items are handmade and sold by the artist, or otherwise approved by the Market Manager
  • Clearly list the items you intend to sell
  • Provide photos of products if requested by Market management

Important Date Restriction

  • June 6: Absolutely no art, craft, or handmade item tables will be allowed on this date.
    • Artists and crafters should instead participate in Art in the Park on this date
    • Handmade or craft items may not be included on produce tables on June 6

Vendor Fee

Indemnity & Insurance Requirements

As part of the application process, vendors must agree to the following:

  • Abide by all market rules, policies, and all federal, state, and local laws, codes, and regulations
  • Cooperate with Flushing Farmers Market management
  • Secure all required licenses and permits for products sold and provide copies if requested
  • Indemnify and hold harmless the City of Flushing, Flushing Parks & Recreation, and their employees and volunteers from all claims, liabilities, losses, or damages related to vendor participation

Vendors are required to:

  • Secure and provide a Certificate of Liability Insurance listing the Flushing Farmers Market, covering all applicable dates

Market Rules & Compliance

By submitting an application, vendors acknowledge that:

  • They have received and reviewed the Farmers Market rules and policies
  • All employees or helpers will follow market rules and policies
  • All information provided in the application is accurate and complete
  • Flea‑market‑type items and resale goods are not permitted
  • Artwork must be personally produced by the vendor
  • Vendor participation is a privilege and may be revoked at any time for any reason
